I would like to recommend a great praise and worship album to you: “Happy Day: Live Worship, London” by Tim Hughes. I’ve enjoyed listening to all the tracks and find that I appreciate the many songs and references to the Cross.
There are some familiar songs; “Beautiful One” and “Here I am To Worship,” but there are also some great new ones; “Happy Day” and “Consuming Fire” are two of my favorites. There is a great new ending to “Here I Am To Worship,” which I think you’re going to love. And the final song, “When I Survey” has an uplifting chorus that resonates again and again, “… thank You for the cross, thank You for the cross.”
If you’re looking to add a new album to your worship collection, I highly recommend “Happy Day: Live.”

Prayer is to be the power by which the Church manifests the Kingdom of God on earth. Jesus has given us the weapon of prayer to be used to open the doorway for God to manifest miracles, healing, deliverance, restoration, and signs and wonders.
For our corporate times of worship, let’s pray:
For the presence of God to [...]

We were privileged to have David Baroni, gifted songwriter and musician, at Harvest Church this past March for a worship conference. He recently posted the following blog on CCLI’s website. I thought I would share it with you since I enjoyed it so much.

“Therefore, through Him (Jesus) let us continually offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of our lips that confess His name” (Hebrews 13:15).
The writer of Hebrews tells us that we are to “continually offer up to God a sacrifice of praise.” Continually, without cessation, not because we have to but [...]

Here’s a great word of encouragement from Chris, one of our worship team members:
“Throughout the Old Testament the worshippers were sent out before the army to prepare the battle place with praise so that the presence of Jehovah would inhabit the field. With God present, insurmountable forces were overcome. As we worship, we create a [...]

I’ve been in a reflective mood, most likely resulting from a powerful move of the Holy Spirit in our worship service yesterday. As I’ve thought about it today, I realize you and I have a decision to make. Do we want to move out into the depths of all that God has for us? Do [...]

A co-worker sent to this me a while back and I thought it was worth passing on to you.
STRESS
A lecturer when explaining stress management to an audience, raised a glass of water and asked, “How heavy is this glass of water?”
Answers called out ranged from 20g to 500g.
The lecturer replied, “The absolute weight doesn’t matter. [...]

If you’re reading this right now, we have a connection. Somehow, in some way, we have been brought together through the advancement of technology. We may be friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, acquaintances, church members, or even cyberspace buddies who have never met face-to-face, but we have a connection.
And so, if you’re reading this right now, you were [...]

“Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NIV)
Researchers found that grateful people report higher levels of positive emotions, more satisfaction with life, and more vitality and optimism. All good qualities I want more of in my life. They also found grateful people show lower [...]
